Weekly Communication folders
A weekly folder will go home with your child on Tuesday. There will often be things to sign and return in this folder. Majority of the contents will be yours to keep at home. Please sign the folder and return on Wednesday.
Volunteering in the classroom
I would love to have parents volunteer in the classroom! I do ask, however, that younger siblings are not with you when you volunteer in the room. Please let me know in advance if you would like to come.
Wake County has a policy that all volunteers have to be registered in the system for volunteering. Contact the office with dates and times to complete the online registration form. (It has to be done at school on our network.)

Conferences & communication
Parents, I need your support, and the children need your support. However, I do ask that if you need to speak to me about your child, to please schedule a time when we can talk one-to-one so I can give you my undivided attention. My job during the day is to teach your children, so it is hard for me to be pulled out of the classroom, even for small conversations.
You can always email me, send me a note, or call and leave a message in the office. I will respond to you as soon as I possibly can.

School Wide Birthday Celebrations
As of the 2017-2018 school year, our school does not allow any FOOD for birthday celebrations. You are welcome to bring a book for the class to share, a special pencil for the class, a bag of "About Me" to include sharing favorite items, etc.
